Due to the ongoing safety threat of the Coronavirus outbreak, also known as Covid-19, upper management of Hardscape.com is closely monitoring local media, CDC, OSHA and announcements by state elected officials to make the best decision in regards to the safety and health of our staff and customers. In an effort to be socially responsible and heed the warnings, here is how Hardscape.com plans to handle the current situation.
After careful consideration of the Coronavirus Pandemic, evidenced by the CDC and Osha Government agencies, Hardscape.com will remain operational at this time. Some of our employees will be working remotely during this time of uncertainty in an effort to cooperate with advice for social distancing. Our showroom locations in Boca Raton and Jupiter will be closed for a short period of time to walk-in traffic as we perform deep cleaning and sanitizing.
Within our organization, our employees are being asked to keep a safe distance from one another, limit face to face conversations, eliminate any form of touching (including passing of items, sharing pens, handshakes, etc.), eliminate food sharing, and stagger lunches to ensure that no one is spending too much time congregating in the event of an unknown infection. Furthermore, we have provided masks, gloves, sanitizer, antibacterial soap and wet wipes to our employees to keep germs and bacteria to a minimum.
We will continue to carefully follow updates from local officials and government agencies and notify the public of any changes that may impact normal day to day operations.
